Thomas ends his career and moves into coaching

British player Thomas Thomas Utting announced the end of his playing career to start a new chapter — working as a coach

He said that for almost ten years he had competed in CS:GO and CS2, going from the local UK scene to the Majors stage. Now he wants to direct all the experience he has gained into coaching.

Thomas recalled his path: the breakthrough with Endpoint, international tournaments, and his main achievement — playing for ITB at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Back then, the team, having started from open qualifiers, finished in 5th–8th place.

According to Thomas, the decision to end his playing career had been maturing for more than a year: it became harder for him to compete as a player, but he gets more enjoyment from helping the team as a coach.

In the future, he wants to focus on supporting the IGL and developing players. To continue growing as a former IGL, he is looking for opportunities to work as a head coach, assistant coach, or analyst.
