GIANTX champions of Project Blender 2025
Project Blender 2025: Phase 4 concluded with a victory for GIANTX
The fourth and final phase of the European partner tournament for VALORANT — Project Blender 2025: Phase 4 — has concluded. The winner of the competition, which took place from December 8 to 14 in an online format, was the team GIANTX.
The tournament with a prize pool of €40,000 gathered 16 teams from the region. The main feature of this stage was the experimental Blender Draft — a system of agent bans, where teams could not repeatedly select certain characters within a series of matches up to two wins.
GIANTX reached the championship title without defeats. In the playoffs, the team successively defeated:
-
In the 1/8 finals: Ramboot Club - 2:1
-
In the quarterfinals: Natus Vincere - 2:0
-
In the semifinals: Team Liquid Academy - 2:1
-
In the grand final: Eternal Fire - 2:1
For second place, Eternal Fire received €10,000. Team Vitality, having won the match for third place over Team Liquid Academy, completed the top three winners.
Key playoff results:
-
1st place: GIANTX — €16,000
-
2nd place: Eternal Fire — €10,000
-
3rd place: Team Vitality — €5,000
-
4th place: Team Liquid Academy — €3,000
Teams that took places from 5th to 8th - ULF Esports, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, Natus Vincere, received €1,500 each.
Teams that took places from 9th to 16th - Galatasaray Esports, Oxuji, 3BL Esports, BRATAN MIX, BBL Esports, Nuxeria Esport, Ramboot Club, Gentle Mates, received nothing.
The tournament successfully fulfilled its goal of testing the new competitive format Blender Draft, which added an additional strategic layer to the agent draft. Despite positive feedback on its impact on gameplay diversity, the implementation of such a system in the official regulations of VCT 2026 currently seems unlikely.
