LAN Relog for $30k relocates from Cyprus to Belgrade
Tournament organizer Relog Media is hastily changing course: its LAN tournament HLC CYPRUS PRO with a prize pool of $30,000, scheduled for April 3–5 in Limassol, is moving to Belgrade.
The company explained that after the recent attacks on a military base in Cyprus and the closure of the airspace, it is no longer possible to safely host 16 teams on the island, so the event has been moved to Serbia.
The dates and format remain the same: a round-robin group stage will send eight participants to a single-elimination playoff. Twelve slots are being contested through open registration with a $1,000 entry fee, and another four through a local qualifier.
The LAN is part of a series of tournaments ahead of the VRS ranking cutoff on April 6 for IEM Cologne Major — together with Stake Ranked Episode 1, DraculaN Season 6 and Roman Imperium Cup VII.
